Classic Venetian Wedding Cake Bead, this style known as the Dogaressa. The size is approximately 16mm in length and 10mm at the largest diameter with a 1mm hole running through the bead. Handmade in Venice with a band of gold and small flowers handpainted in molten glass and white decorations drizzled all over the top. The exterior gold foil is subject to wear and tear over time and with exposure to body oils and chemicals. The exact placement, shape and size of the decoration is completely random with no two ever exactly alike.
