Venetian Beads with great color depth. These are in the style known as Incalmo where a base color, usually in an opaque and often white is used and a bead is made, then on the top of this decorations are applied and an outer coat of transparent Moretti glass such that the base coat shows through. The size is approximately 18mm in length by 17mm wide, about 7mm thick with a 1mm hole running through lengthwise of the bead. A band of sterling silver around the middle accentuates the bright colors. The base color is opaque light viola, a lilac Murano Glass.
